Battleship Iguana by Zluca

3D artwork? 2D artwork? painting? nah.... This is Zluca's most recent work which is currently posted at fichtenfoo.net. This is a collaborative work from Z and Alberto Longo ( ALB ) and they actually designed, sculpted and re casted this for production.

This is a 1/1500 scale kit and is 35 cm or 14 inches long and the package when bought includes 89 parts, 8 aluminum thrusters, DVD instruction ( wow ) and a signed and numerate postcard. This is an overly sized 1/1500 kit with lots of really outrageously detailed parts.

Zluca was kinda limited to weathering this build unlike his usual weathered mechs, mainly because of the scale thus there is no paint chipping effects or other interesting weathering effects ( kinda impossible for its scale ). However, he pulled it off impressively as usual. The subtle washes and the subtle shading made it look like an artwork ( 3D or 2D ).
