Let's start the day right. Just woke up to see this beautiful diorama at our forums. This was an entry to yet another Group Build at ZeroGunz by ZeroGunz member and MAC forums VIP member from Malaysia EDDY LAI. So not to get you confused, Eddy Lai is not boss Eday guys, he is the boss of Weathering and diorama  from Malaysia. Equally talented but with a different style.



The composition of the whole diorama gives a very relax impression that is both pleasing to the eyes and is very realistic. The weathering of the 1/20 Ma.K Raccon kit is as always topnotch as expected from Eddy. Great stuff as always! A ton more photos and discussion of this masterpiece at MAC forums. EX-S Gundam by Eddy Lai

Lets kick the day off with a masterpiece by a good friend from Malaysia.

Eddy Lai is a very active member of M.A.C. at facebook from the get go of the community. He engages himself with the discussions and he also contributes links and photos of his works on the wall.



This guy is a prodigy! hihi... He started painting Gunpla only last year ( 2009 ) but his works look like it was done by at least 5 year old modelers. His pieces are continually improving in every build... Eddy's recent work is definitely a masterpiece in my book.



I have not done an EX-S Gundam yet, but I read that just sanding the nub marks and doing the seam lines of this kit is a daunting task already. Thus creating one in OOTB is a great accomplishment in itself, much more modify it to create your own version.



Eddy Lai has managed to create his own version... his modifications are subtle but very effective, his painting and shading in particular is marvelous to behold and the photography is simply Professional.
