MG ReZel GAF GB modeled by Hemish

MGRezelcustom

I have here a finely painted Master Grade ReZel for the Gundam Australia Forums ReZel Group Build. This green ReZel is modeled by no other than Hemish! For those modelers who are active in Gunpla forums, Hemish is really known for painting his kits green.

I love the color scheme very much and the color combination just blended together perfectly! The tones / colors used gave the kit a very military and realistic look to the mecha. Hemish painted all of the metallics with Alclad and he painted the armor parts with Tamiya acrylics. Great combination of both flat and metallics in one kit.

Although personally I think some decals would make this perfect, The genius used of colors is just so masterfully shown in the build. I first saw this at our forums but as this is a GAF GB, more photos and discussion of this build is at Gundam Australia Forums ( GAF )...

Adam Sonar of  Gundam Australia Forums ( GAF ) has started an appeal and a fund raising for our brothers in Japan... here is his letter at GAF...

Just hoping all of our Japan based members and the families of our members with relatives in Japan are ok and safe from harm after the terrible quake and Tsunami.

Our thoughts are with you guys. Hopefully you can post up and let us know you are ok.

We will be taking up a collection for victims of this tragedy which we will then disperse to a suitable registered charitable organization/s as more information becomes available.

If you wish to make a donation, we have set up a paypal account:

G-SHOT - Gundam Australia Forums People's Choice!

The G-SHOT Gunpla photo competition is over now and Gundam Guy has shipped the prizes to all the winners. However as I have mentioned in my previous G-SHOT posts, all the judges did all the preliminary and final judging inside Gundam Australia Forums ( GAF ).

The section where ALL participants were judged was in a secret section called G-SHOT Judges Area. Only all of us judges were able to access the area during the competition. However Adam Sonar the creator of GAF has now opened the Judges Area to all the members of the forums.

If you are interested in how we selected and voted for all the 5 winners and if you are a GAF member, you could check out the Judges Area and you could also select your top picks or winners for each category. The top choices will then be the G-SHOT  >>> GAF People's choice!

Now be sure to log in with your GAF account before clicking the link... here is the Judges Area guys...

NO more MAC meet ups this 2011!

Just kidding! Aside from the fact that Skype is killing our forums and maybe even our Facebook forum extensions... It is a great way to chat while building kits when you have voice and video chats on. I finished my X-Wing while Skyping and should finish my StarCraft dio this week while Skyping too.

MAC is pretty much international though as most or at least half of are active members are not from the Philippines. In Fact one of the 3 admins is from the US...yes, that will be Kriz. So as much as the actual meet ups here in the Philippines have been fun. We are actually enjoying our meet ups ( video and voice chats ) with our international members and friends so much more.

Kamm has been cursing for almost a week now, PhantomPain sounds like Hero in Heroes, Hummingbird talks like blur in the old Transformers movie, MatX and Kriz are being their usual sinister looking selves, DCMKii has been working with his FSS kit and a few others have started to join the chat these past couple of days.

I also had fun chatting with Toymaker ( Kenny ) for a couple of days now, though he is more comfortable in type chats. Adam Sonar ( creator ) and Lupes of Gundam Australia Forums has joined us last night too! This is great, we are practically having meet ups every night and I get to build Gunpla and practice my english. LOL

I hope to chat with our ZeroGunz brothers one of these days! ZeroGunz was my first forums afterall and it will be really cool to chat with Rayloke and Ryukaze and the other guys!

On a side note: Kamm is bragging about a secret paint that he won't reveal until I do not know! I vow to know the paint and will blog about it! hehehehe
