Scratch Building Curvy Pla plate by JULIUS LIM

Scratch Building Curvy Pla plate by JULIUS LIM photo

Although I cannot work on Gunpla or any project on weekdays I still could squeeze time for the internet. I saw this great tutorial from one of the sickest scratch builders around in JULIUS LIM of Malaysia. The level of skill of Julius Lim is head and shoulders over the rest of us and he continues to show great stuff with every project.

This is basically a part of his ongoing 1/48 Sinanju Head Display project wherein he is scratch building the rest of the parts of the standard 1/48 Sinanju. Cool stuff that will sure inspire others in the community! Anyways the more complete tutorial and more photos of this at Juju's website. Here is the link guys...

Gunpla Inspiration featuring JuliusLim by Kamm

Jonathan Kaminski aka Kamm one of our resident youtuber at MAC forums, just finished another video for his Gunpla Inspiration series. After having yours truly ( Philippines ), Toymaker ( Singapore ) and Matt Tomczek ( US ), Kamm now has no other than Julius Lim from Malaysia as his Gunpla Inspiration for the month.

As I've said in my previous post, one of Julius Lim's build was my Gunpla of the year back in 2009. Most of the monster masterpieces of Juju is in Kamm's video and is very well presented as always and has a very nice sound track too. I highly recommend you take a look at Kamm's feature of Julius Lim's masterpieces.

Thanks for dropping by! Til' next feature guys! ;)

1/20 WAVE MK-31 modeled by JuliusLim

I have been waiting for the completed photos of this build for almost a week now, as the WIP photos are so dang good they look as good as finished. Finally the photos are up at Julius Lim's blog and I could share to you Juju's recent eye popping masterpiece!

I really do not know how to feature Juju anymore as I have basically said everything about his skills and his builds already. I even had Julius Lim's build as Gunpla of the Year back in 2009 and he equally impressed last year with his PG FA MK-II at BMKWC Malaysia 2010.

Juju's builds never fails to impress! Always a delight as we are treated to one of the best in the community. I highly recommend you bolt down to Julius Lim's blog for more photos and very informative WIP posts.

Here is the link guys...

Thanks for dropping by! Til' next featured guest modeler! :)

PG FA-178 Full Armor Gundam MKII Ver.Juju

Ello guys, I just want to share this sick, sick, very sick work in progress pics of a fellow ZeroGunz.com  member, Julius Lim. Julius or Juju is the very first guest modeler I featured here in my blog with his spectacular build last Bakuc 2009. The 0083 Stardust Memories - The Stipulation of Gerbera and I featured it as the Gundam model kit of 2009.

Once again, Juju is at it! His scratch building skills is humanly impossible but he always insists that his work is child's play for the Japanese. He is one of Malaysia's and ZeroGunz's pride... I simply do not know anyone who could even attempt to do this ( maybe MatX or Mdgelo would ).

Not much words to describe this build...one thing is for sure, this is truly another inspiring work from the master of masters. Do visit Juju's blog if you have the time, he does not blog much but his works speaks for themselves - Julius Plamo Sketchpad and also here is the gallery and more pics of this crazy build at ZeroGunz - PG FF MKII in WIP section.

Thanks for dropping by! til' next post! XD

PG FA-178 Full Armor Gundam MKII Ver.Juju

Ello guys, just want to share this ongoing build by Julius Lim at ZeroGunz. Julius Lim is the great Malaysian modeller who did the GP04 conversion with the damaged 1/100 scratch built dendrodium as the dio, He named that build " 0083 Stardust Memories -Stipulation of Gerbera ". I featured him last year as the Gunpla of the Year 2009 here in my blog.

Here are some links...

Anyways, Juju is up to no good again, he plans to modify a PG MKII to a Full Armor version in 45 DAYS! Yes 45 days in time for Malaysia's midyear competition...thus he is currently scratch buiding the full armor parts already, and plans to do minor detailing and extend the thigh and leg parts...Here is a photo of a Bandai GFF figure of the Full Armor MKII that Juju is using as reference...

and here is Juju's mods that he did on the first day ( of 45 days ), he is now on his third day so I suggest you visit his WIP at ZeroGunz or his Blog for more mind blowing scratch building!
