1/35 Transformers Movie 3 model kits!!!

I shamelessly took these photos from guNjap and Mecha Guy coz I wanted these photos in my archives. I am a TF fan and had been collecting the Toys since the first movie came out. As a Gunpla modeler, this news got me so excited! I have always dreamed of a kit of those cool TF designs as they will be super detailed if ever they copy the movie designs faithfully.

The toys are super detailed enough for toys, but imagine those details in a model kit. I also think that without the transformation gimmick, these kits should have nice articulation for great diorama poses. I just hope that the quality of the model kits will be at least almost as good as Bandai's.

Plus! because it is in 1/35 scale, all of those easy to acquire 1/35 military figures will match perfectly with these mechas! Man I cannot imagine the endless diorama possibilities that this kits has to offer. Ruined buildings, lots of 1/35 US Marine figures on the side and 1/35 battle damaging and weathering! This is so crazy!

Plus you get to practice nice car finishes on the car / armor parts and super detail painting on the internals. I do not detail paint Gunpla internals as much as others as they are always covered with armor anyways, but TF Movie designs would allow you to show off those detail painting! This is a dream project soon to come to reality.

I will KILL a stranger for this!

I want this so badly I will KILL a stranger for this! I want this more than any MG  ( coz I have the MG O now ) and any Perfect Grade ( coz I can't comfortably afford one ) out there! This is the ultimately must have for me. If someone offers this to me and tells me to stop blogging in return, I would readily accept!



Ok, not really... won't give up this site for a piece of plastic. BUT, man I do want this! Much like all the other UC Hardgraph series, this kit is an OOTB modelers day dream! This will sure look great even without modifications. A perfect kit for any Gundam fan. Hope to have this one of these days...

I want this little devil so much!

I just got home from the office and also just finished casting my TOP 3 entries for each category in G-SHOT. It was a lot more fun casting my final top 3 as the selection has been trimmed down from the first and second elimination round. I am the first judge to cast my vote, but I must say that we my have our winners very soon. Advance congratulations to all!

I also saw this at our MAC Facebook and it was posted by Gundam Guy. I just want this kit so badly I will loan money to get one. Kidding aside, I know I have a TON of backlogs and Gunpla commitments already. But I just want to get my hands on this little demon and snap fit the little guy the moment I have it! Thanks a ton to Bandai for releasing so many wonderful kits for the past couple of years! Will hunt for this kit very very soon.

Singapore - Gundam Model Kit Challenge 2010

Ello guys, just saw this thread at ZeroGunz.com though I am pretty sure you'll find more of this at PLAMO. A few of our modeler members from Singapore ( Saber and Mr. Gumball ) shared some marvelous photos of the ongoing Gundam midyear competition there.



The MG Sinanju is from Toymaker and is a very nice rendition of the Sinanju I must say, well as expected from him of course. The very neat MG Sazabi is from Titanium. I met Titanium at Hong Kong in the Bakuc finals when he represented Singapore with his perfect Zeong. He is a cool very quite guy actually.

MG Tallgeese One next on Bandai's list?!?

Ok, ok don't kill me, the photo above is master FichtenFoo's rendition of the HG 1/100 Tallgeese One... Anyways, I just learned from Ngee Kiong that Bandai is going to release a MG Gundam Deathscythe by September. No concrete news yet if they are going for the custom version or original series version or even a version Ka.



I have the 1/100 HG Gundam Deathscythe I bought a few months back, it is snapfitted and is catching dust in my display cabinet. I almost worked on the kit last month but decided against it eventually...Now, with this news, I guess I will never work on it ever.



It is always a delight whenever Bandai releases a MG, it is almost like getting bonuses at work ( well, almost )...but if you have the HG 1/100 versions with there obscure proportions and bad color separations ( older HGs ), it is always kind of a bummer whenever there MG counterparts comes along ( much like what I felt when the MG Exia came out while I was still working with the HG 1/100 version ). I almost feel like throwing them or giving them away ( again, almost ).



Anyways, I can't help but think of a MG Tallgeese being released soon ( maybe even early next year ). And that would be a dream come true for me... It is inevitable that Bandai is going to release the other 3 Gundam Wing MS, the Shenlong Gundam, Gundam Heavyarms and Gundam Sandrock, actually I think Ngee Kiong kinda confirmed there eventual release.



All the five Gundam Wing in MG is a must have for me, heck it might even be my biggest diorama ever once i get my hands on those guys. But, I tell you... a MG Tallgeese is a dream come true! ;)

MG The O - Gunpla News

I told you yesterday that I am hunting for an hguc The O for a week now...forget that! hehe... I just saw from Gundam Guy that Bandai is going to release a MG ( 1/100 ) The O by summer of 2010 ( I don't have any idea of what month is summer in Japan though. :b ).



According to G.G. the photos came from 49th Shizouka Hobby Show 2010 and some other kits like the much anticipated hguc Sinanju is also going to be released soon. There are a few more hgucs to be released like the hguc Delta Plus, but I am only interested in the MG The O. I will definitely get this...hope to get my hands on this soon! ;)

MG Musha Gundam MKII "和" style sticker

I got this news from The Bakuc Society at facebook again...Apparently, the MG Musha MKII is set to be released this May ( 2010 ) and will have some Japanese style motif sticker. A bit more photos in facebook but not much info was disclosed. I will definitely get this kit though I have no plans of painting or modding it...I think it is one of those rare kits ( like the Unicorn ) that looks great in OOTB. Anyways,  here are a few pics...

Australia is now joining Bakuc!

I got this news from The Bakuc Society - the official Gundam facebook page. This is great news! Our modeler friends from Australia is joining BAKUC ( Bandai Action Kit Universal Cup ) for the first time this 2010.

Bakuc is an INTERNATIONAL competition sponsored by Bandai itself and the best modelers from China, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Italy, USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, and South Korea compete for the World Championships. Modelers compete in there own countries and once they win, they get to represent their country in Bakuc Finals held in Hong Kong. So let me rephrase that... basically, you have to win against your fellow modelers in your country before getting the chance to compete against other representatives from other countries.

I am very fortunate to be the first and the only Bakuc World Champion ( 2008 ) from the Philippines in the Pro level category ...but the Philippines bagged the Junior level World Championship last year ( 2009 ) by Eduardo Quirong... a few countries like Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia has a couple World Champions already. I am NOT eligible to join BAKUC ( Pro open level category ) anymore so I am looking forward for other Filipinos to get the title one of these years and I am also actually looking forward to seeing the other countries bag their first World Championship. ;)

There are lots of Categories in this competition, BUT only the winners of the Pro Open level category and the Junior open level category are competing for the world championships in Hong Kong. The winners of the expert category participants and the other minor categories are not eligible to compete in though.

Australians who are interested to join ( I suggest you do join ), just visit here - Bakuc Autralia 2010 details. It was a great experience to compete in Hong kong for the Bakuc Finals and nothing beats the big stage really, so I suggest you give yourselves a chance to do so.
