custom MG The O verDC23 wallpaper

As customary I did a quick wallpaper of my most recent build in the MG The O. This is basically a conversion of the MG The O into a The O II Hauer that I used as entry in the Toymaker versus DC23 build off. The kit was inspired by the Hyper Weapon ( Kobayashi ) book given to me by Kenny ( Toymaker ) and was also inspired from Zluca's masterpieces of Kallamity.com.



I am just killing time as me and my daughter will be off to the awarding of the GBWC 2011 Philippines. But I will make sure to create a better wallpaper of this build soon. Feel free to share the wallpaper if you like. Thanks as always for dropping by! Til' next post guys! 

verDC23 kits wallpaper

After working with the MAC forums banner and wallpaper, I kinda got curious if my own kits alone could fill up a 1920 x 1200 wallpaper. I did this faster than the MAC wallpaper as I did not have to find photos from other modelers and simply took some photos in my albums.

Halfway into filling all those hexagons I thought I could actually fill up all the hexas with my completed kits. However I came a bit short of filling it up as I had to use alternate photos of the same builds to fill up the edges. I really like how it came out though as it looks like I filled all the hexagons with different builds.

I guess I need to build more as 3 years of kit building is not enough to faithfully fill up all those hexas. So I am off to working with some kits now. Thanks for dropping by! Til' next post! :)

I am currently using this photo as my wallpaper and I love it! My best yet simplest wallpaper I think. Icons on the desktop are very visible and I just like how the O is trying not to fume while the Nobell Gundam is trying to find a comfortable sitting position.

my 10 year OLD drawings...

Ello guys, I decided to revive my old portfolio which is basically my old 1999 - 2001 drawings. My favorite amongst all of them is the sad " blue " clown that I drew on a textured paper and painted in Prang water colors. It was then inked with Rotring technical pens.and this made me change my avatar to a clown. hihi



I figured to scan and upload most of the better drawings as they are really getting dirty and really old. At least now I have a 300 dpi copies of them and have small copies here in my blog as well. My medium was water color ever since, but a few were painted with colored pencils, photoshop, poster colors and technical pens.



Pretty nostalgic while looking at them... and came to realize that I love doing details ever since, like the scales of the dragon and most of the brush strokes... anyways here are my 9 - 11 year old drawings...

The O II sketch art

I read this a few days ago at Gundam Guy's blog and I cannot keep my mind of it. It kinda reminds me of Zluca's Schnabelgun III. As G.G. mentioned in his blog, this is basically a Zeon remnant MS that he read in " Mobile Suit Gundam Revival of Zeon ".



Anyways I just want to share it with you here, as G.G. said this could be a good reference for modding the upcoming MG the O in September ( or August? ). I highly doubt someone could finish one like this for Bakuc this year coz if the O really is released on September, that will only be a couple of months before Bakuc 2010.

Thus, for someone to pull this off for Bakuc, you have to spend two months of sleepless nights. But then again, we would not know... maybe someone does can pull this off using the MG the O for Bakuc. let's wait and see then. ;)

Wing Gundam Zero Custom wallpaper - DC23

Ello guys, The photo on top shows a very quick photoshop doodle of my most recent build, the battle damaged MG Wing Gundam Wing Zero Custom. Actually this is not really a wallpaper coz the composition is vertical and not horizontal, thus this is more of an art card than a wallpaper.



I got the idea of the title " Fallen Zero " from a fellow modeler in ZeroGunz, John David C. and I basically wanted a rising from the dead look in which Wing Custom has his arms tucked on his sides and is rising from the ground. I composited a nice background I got from the internet, added lightning and some clouds and made it look like it is raining.

Kampfer and me drawing

Ello guys, I just want to share a digital art I have been working on for a couple of days in the office ( on and off  ). This is basically my second Wacom art and I shamelessly traced a picture of my Kampfer to get used to handling the tool ( Wacom  pen )...I also drew a cartoon version of me and replaced Char on the Kampfer hands.
