Newtype Gunpla Competition by Mechaspot.com

I have judged a handful of online Gunpla Competitions already, but never have I been invited to fly to another country and be a guest judge on a competition. I am so honored that Mechaspot.com extended me an invite late last year and I am so excited that their competition is pushing thru.



Yours truly ( Don Suratos aka DC23 of the Philippines ) and Anupong Channarong ( aka nuNunu of Thailand ) will be flying to Indonesia and will be staying there for 3 days. We will be judging a Gunpla competition and both of us will be conducting workshops on Gunpla. The workshops should be fun as we will try to teach you as much as we can during the event ( with live demos ).



Me and nuNunu will also be giving out a special award for the entries of our choice. I will be awarding my fav diorama entry and nuNunu will be awarding his Kitbash King award.

1/144 Dark Horizon QanT modeled by nuNUnu

I am so happy to see that Thailand's master Gunpla builder nuNUnu is very productive again these days. I have here his most recent masterpiece which is a 1/144 HG Dark Horizon QanT.



I love dark color schemes very much although it is a bit difficult to pull off. This one in particular did not flood the details and it actually highlighted the decal work a lot more. A masterful work on such a small 1/144 model kit by nuNUnu.

1/48 Unicorn Gundam head display by nuNUnu

It has been a while since I saw a finished masterpiece from Thailand's champion Gunpla builder nuNUnu. And I am very happy and pleased to announce that he has just shared and finished another beautiful build at our MAC forums.



This time nuNU played with a 1/48 Unicorn Gundam head and did a superb job on this little head display piece. nuNUnu is one of those scratch building machines and I am pretty sure this kinds of work for him is just like a warm up build. Looking forward to more of nuNU's awesome works in the future.
